Mike's Story

Mike Everett is from the small Montana town of Belgrade. He grew up hunting and fishing as most kids in the area did. Most male figures in his family had served in the military, and as soon as he graduated high school, Mike shipped off to MCRD San Diego to complete Marine Corps Recruit training. While in the Marine Corps, Mike was deployed to Iraq, serving in Fallujah and Karmah. Upon completion of his military service, Mike returned home and went to college at Montana State University and received a degree in Geographic Information Systems. He currently works for the Department of Veteran Affairs. 

The outdoors has played an important role in Mike's transition from military service to civilian life, always looking forward to the next adventure.  Just like the other members of Condition One, he is active in numerous local veteran organizations and other volunteer groups.
